West Michigan snowmobilers will be happy to hear that the Mason County Board of Commissioners approved a resolution yesterday in support of a state certified snowmobile trail in Mason county.  The commissioners also made appointments to the Mason County Local Emergency Planning Committee and Remonumentation Peer Group.

In other meeting news the Commissioners approved HGC Engineering services to conduct a post construction sound survey for the Lake Winds Energy Park.  The survey will be paid for by Consumers Energy as part of their special land use permit.

Approval to prepare bid documents for various rehabilitation projects at the Mason County Jail was also passed.

The County Commissioners will meet again next month, April 19th.
