Spectrum Leapfrogs towards greatness

Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital received an “A” grade for patient safety in the new Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades. The “A” ranking places the Ludington hospital among the safest hospitals in the United States and repeats the group’s highest ranking, which the hospital also received in the fall of 2016. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses 30 measures hospital safety data to assign grades to more than 2,600 U.S. hospitals twice per year. Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital is one of 823 hospitals nationwide to receive Leapfrog’s highest rating for patient safety.
