HIker found and an Assult for Memorial weekend police activity

Assault in Amber. A 41 year old ludington man was arrested on friday after he entered a home in amber township and allegedly assaulted 2 men and a women who were inside. Its reported that the suspect had been involved in a relationship with the female victim and found her at the amber township residence with another man. That man and his brother attempted to break up the fight- resulting in their assault. A door and lamp were also broken.

 

Hiker located. On Sunday a hiker called 911 reporting she was lost with her two 6 year-old children. The mason/Oceana 911 was able to track her locations using the GOS on her cell phone. She was located within an hour.

05/29 @ 1:58 PM        Boat assist, Lake Michigan north of the Ludington Lighthouse, subject reported being adrift with no power.  MCSO Marine deputy located the subject and towed the 25 ft. Searay back into the Ludington harbor
