License suspended appears twice on weekend police report

Saturday Morning,  38 year-old Lansing woman was cited for driving with a license suspended  after being stopped for speeding 75 in a 55 on quarterline in Grant township.  Following the stop a licensed passenger drove the vehicle. Later that afternoon, the same deputy that provided the citation spotted the same woman driving on Pere marquette highway. She was arrested and lodged in the Mason County Jail.

10/21 @ 9:30 AM       Gas drive off, 5900 block of W. US10—Ludington EZ Mart (Pere Marquette Township), store reported a subject pumped $37.10 in diesel fuel and $37.50 in unleaded fuel and left without entering the store

10/21 @ 11:48 AM     Car/Deer crash, with injuries, N/B US31 freeway & Pere Marquette Hwy (Pere Marquette Township), 40 year-old Spring Lake woman received minor injuries, after the vehicle she was riding in struck a deer

10/21 @ 4:14 PM       2-vehicle crash, minor injuries, Pere Marquette Hwy & Kistler (Summit Township), 17 year-old Ludington female and her 17 year-old passenger both received minor injuries after their vehicle rear-ended a pickup truck which was stopped waiting to make a left turn onto Kistler Rd

10/21 @ 4:30 PM       Suspicious Situation, 3900 W. US10—Meijer’s (Amber Township), two (2) females, ages 18 and 19, reported they were approached by two Hispanic men and asked questions related to if they were alone, lived in the area, had boyfriends, how old they were, etc.  Deputies area awaiting security footage.

10/22 @ 11:01 AM     DWLS 1st (Citation), Quarterline & West Forest Trl (Grant Township), 38 year-old Lansing woman was cited following a traffic stop, where she was stopped for speeding 75/55.  Following the stop a licensed passenger drove the vehicle. 

10/22 @ 1:28 PM       DWLS arrest, US31 freeway near Pere Marquette Hwy (Pere Marquette Township), the above driver was stopped and arrested after the same deputy who had stopped her earlier, was clearing a call on the freeway when she passed by him driving…again.  She was arrested and lodged in the Mason County Jail.

10/22 @ 3:33 PM       2-vehicle crash, with injuries, US10 & Dennis (Amber Township), the crash resulted when a vehicle traveling eastbound on US10 lost control, after hydroplaning, and crossed into the westbound lanes and collided with an oncoming vehicle.  The crash resulted in injuries to 4 persons.  All injuries were non-life-threatening.  A 28 year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding FTA warrant out of Mason County.  Drug use is suspected in the crash based on observations deputies made at the scene and the case remains under investigation pending blood test results
