The Oceana Conservation District will award $1,000 scholarships to three (3) high school seniors in Oceana County in the spring of 2018. Applications will be accepted from students who plan to pursue a degree in natural resources, conservation, or agriculture and demonstrate the potential to become active community leaders committed to promoting conservation, stewardship, and sustainable use of the natural resources in Oceana County.
The Munger Scholarship Program is named after Edith and Louis Munger, early pioneers in conservation and agriculture in Oceana County. Applications must be submitted by February 15th, 2018 and the scholarships will be awarded at the District's annual meeting tentatively scheduled for March 17, 2018.
