Hamlin Township resident, Mark McCallum, is given a prison sentence of 6 to 20 years. The charges were based on embezzlement of $20-50,000.
In February of 2012, McCallum was going through a divorce with his wife and did not return his children after a weekend visit. He stole a car and various valuables then drove down to Florida with his two kids. McCallum was given 28 months to 15 years for custodial interference. The embezzlement charges stem from the theft of the vehicle and valuables from a couple's home. A home invasion charge was dropped but McCallum is expected to pay a restitution of almost $12,500.
