Babytime @ the Ludington Library

Join Miss Liz for a fun morning of singing, stories, rhymes, and socializing.

All Mason County District Library programs are free of charge.

Older children are welcome to attend Babytime with their favorite toy or a supplied toy.

Prom Dress Distribution

Dresses will be distributed Monday April 17th from 4-7pm at Emanuel Lutheran Church. Dresses in various sizes, styles, lengths and colors will be provided for Free to all local girls who want to go to Prom.

Blood Donations

Eligible blood donors of all blood types are encouraged to give blood through the American Red Cross this spring to help ensure a sufficient supply for hospital patients.

Donated blood is perishable and must constantly be replenished to keep up with hospital patient need. Red blood cells are the blood component most frequently transfused by hospitals and must be used within 42 days of donation. 

The Next Blood donation opportunity will be 4/18/2017: 11:30 a.m. - 5:15 p.m., St Simons Church, 702 E. Bryant Road

Fit Club-Scottville

Students in elementary and middle school are invited to join Fit Club at Mason County District Library for active fun. Fit Club, led by Leona Ashley of Spectrum Health, will explore the lifelong benefits of physical fitness and good nutrition through games and play.  Signed permission slips are required for some activities.  Forms are available at the Mason County District Libraries in Ludington and Scottville.  All Mason County District Library programs are free.  Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Fit Club Wednesdays at 4:00 pm at the Scottville Library.

Focus on life Dinner

Focus on Life will be having its benefit dinner Thursday April 20th at Lincoln Hills Golf Club. Doors open at 5:30 with the dinner and program beginning at 6:30. Tickets are $35 per person or $280 for a table of 8.

Preschool and MCC Kindergarten registration night

Victory Early Childhood Center Preschool and MCC Kindergarten Registration Night will be held Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 6:00pm at Scottville Elementary School. Children may enter Preschool if they are four (4) years old and Kindergarten if they are five (5) years old on/or before September 1st of the 2017-2018 school year. Please bring a copy of your child's birth certificate, health/immunizations record and proof of residency.

Spring Business Expo

Mason County Family Events will host the annual Spring Business Expo Saturday, April 22nd at MCC High School Gym from 10am-3pm! This event will serve as a way for local businesses, direct sales representatives and local artist to reach the public with their goods and services. Admission is Free. Food and beverages will be available from the MCC concession stand as a fundraiser. The business expo will provide information about the Be the Match program. A portion of the proceeds will also go to Hunter Bowman, a young man that lives in Mason County that was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. He is going to Texas for treatments.
